Oval sapphires (approx. 4x3mm=.99ct) are prong-set, east to west, in a north-to-south row at the tapered center of this sterling silver band. Round white topaz stones (approx. 1.5mm=.45ct) are pavé-set on each of the six rows for a touch diamond-like sparkle.

I bought this ring as a gift long ago and hated parting with it.:) The recipient receives many compliments. I decided yesterday to see if it was still available and to order myself one if so. It was; I did.:) The sapphires are well matched and the look is different and stunning. The white topaz on the one I used for a gift does not really show up well or shine, but consider the price!!! This is an outstanding, different and precious ring for the little investment required.

Beautiful and looks like it is much more expensive. The stones are a rich, deep blue and sparkle against the silver. It is substantial in size for us gals with long nails. But I found I did have to go up in size. My usual size was so tight I didn''t think I would get it off my finger! I wear a lot of blue so this will get a lot of wear on my finger.

The sapphires have a hypnotizing blue velvet quality. The beauty of the topaz is best seen in sunlight where these stones glisten as if they were small diamonds. I agree that the ring size runs a bit small. My guess is the ring fits about 1/4 inch smaller than normal sizing. Overall, the ring has a large presence-knuckle buster. However, the blue sapphires are so beautiful that you won''t part with this ring. Matching earrings would have sold out immediately.

I like jewelry that has some punch and this wide band has a large presence but tapers in the back for comfort. Because of the width of the band I would say it fits about a 1/2 size smaller than average. Price-wise I would say about average for the $$.
