I just got my ring ..in silver - and it is GORGEOUS! The stone is a great, believable size - the sparkle of the marquise and even the little stones in the band is just breath taking. Yes, the marquise does sit up high, but that is apparent in the photos and description. But the setting is made so that is is sturdy to support it - not just two prongs. It has a "basket" type setting with v prongs. Very, very beautiful and well-crafted ring. I am VERY pleased! Especially since this is one I'd been eyeing up for some time! I'm glad I finally ordered it!

I saw this ring on HSN and thought it was beautiful. When I received it, I couldn't believe how high the stone was. It was ridiculous. A marquis up that high, only held on with two prongs. I wasn't taking the chance of the stone falling out and sent it back. I thought the shine was too dull also. Compared to my other absolute. The stone was flat on the bottom, I like them when they drop down just a bit to give it more sparkle when the light hits it. Didn't work for me, maybe for you! :)

This is a large ring; but still Believable. The Marquis sits high on the bridge, & looks very elegant. Normally, I don't buy Vermeil (bad Investment); but this particular Style won me over. So far, it's wearing pretty well (cross my fingers)!

ABSOLUTELY A WINNER. UNIQUE. BELIEVABLE. NOT TOO BIG. LOVE THIS DESIGN WHICH RAISES THE STONE HIGH ENOUGH TO REALLY CATCH THE LIGHT. OFTEN, AS WITH MY REAL MARQUISE ENGAGMENT RING, THE SETTING FOR THIS CUT DOESN'T ALLOW ENOUGH UNDERNEATH LIGHT TO ALLOW IT TO POP. THIS ONE DOES AND THE PAVE' JUST FINISHES IT ELEGANTLY.THE VERMEIL IS A PERFECT COLOR AND THE RING IS A FEMININE SIZE. VERY PLEASED. GREAT BUY!
