Ring. Perched from a prong setting, the jewelry's oval Colombian
emerald (approx. 8x6mm) takes well to its sparkling assemblage of prong-set,
tapered diamond baguettes (approx. 1.7 to 1.9mm).
Note: These diamonds are graded at HI color (color slightly distinguishable
to the trained eye) and I1-I2 clarity (inclusions can be seen under
magnification and, in some cases, to the human eye).

Disappointed / Liz, CA7/2/2008 I bought the whole set -- ring, earrings and pendant -- and while the craftmanship is beautiful, I was VERY disappointed with the color of the "emeralds." It is nowhere green, let alone the beautiful, deep green that Colombian emeralds are known for. I would say this is more like a greenish aquamarine, and a cloudy aquamarine at that. Sadly, all are going back.

NICE COLOR EMERALD / Debra, MI5/26/2008 The ring I received had a pretty colored emerald but was half full of white inclusions. The other half was clear. Diamonds were OK but not exceptional. The deciding factor for me was the whole ring seemed to be set crooked on the band. I am very picky so this one is being returned. All you ladies that got a great ring consider yourselves very lucky!

The emerald is a deep, clear, grass green (with inclusions)
It definitely doesn''t have that awful "foggy" look. ..its not "light green/aqua"
Had it appraised and the jewler gave it a "B" grading (emeralds come in AAA, AA, A, and B gradings) - with the emerald by itself appraising at about $ 1000 - 1200 (not including the daimonds).
He literally pulled out the book with appraising prices and showed me the listing for the appraisal.
